Captain Amanda L. Lundstedt
Biography
Captain Amanda L. Lundstedt is the Operations Officer at Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC)-Detachment 055, University of California, Los Angeles. Capt Lundstedt is responsible for leading, training, counseling, and developing cadets.
Capt Lundstedt commissioned into the Air Force as a Combat Systems Officer (CSO) through AFROTC at Rochester Institute of Technology in 2018. After completing three years of Undergraduate CSO Training (UCT) and MC-130J Commando II CSO training, she was assigned to her first operations unit in the United Kingdom. In addition to her primary duties as a CSO at the 67th Special Operations Squadron, she performed responsibilities as a Standards and Evaluations Liaison Officer, a Tactical Communications Integration Officer, and the Officer in Charge of the Commander’s Support Staff. During her time in the United Kingdom, she flew 28 hours in support of a presidentially-directed mission in an active conflict zone. Additionally, she was selected by the 352nd Special Operations Wing to fill a 4-month position as a Liaison to Special Operations Command Europe in Stuttgart, Germany. During this time, she also served as Battle Captain for a 487-member Joint Special Operations Task Force. Her actions were critical to the successful planning of a crisis action response.
