Biography

Staff Sergeant Leslie Pengeston is NCOIC, Administration, assigned to Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 055, University of California, Los Angeles. SSgt Pengeston manages all on-campus, cross-town, and local area administrative programs in accordance with AFROTC rules and regulations.

SSgt Pengeston grew up in Edina, Minnesota. He began his Air Force career in 2016 as an Administration Apprentice. Over his career, he has held a wide range of positions at various command levels and commands from Squadron, Wing, and Joint Special Operations environments. He completed his Community College of the Air Force degree in Business Administration in 2022. Currently, he is working on his bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems.
